At the heart of the Pink Flamingo community beats a powerful vision - one that seeks to extend the reach of our female cycling initiative to embrace the vast landscapes of regional and rural Australia. This ambitious expansion plan is woven from three distinct strands, each nurtured by grant funding, sponsorship and membership contributions. Our goal is nothing short of establishing Pink Flamingos as a recognisable synonymous name synonymous with female cycling.

Our Three Strands of Growth:

1. New Hubs in Regional Areas:
   With a special focus on areas with limited resources, our plan is to create new hubs in regional pockets across the country. We believe in cycling's potential to uplift even in low socioeconomic areas.
2. Empowerment through Facilitators:
   We're investing in hub facilitators who share our passion for empowering women through cycling. They will be armed with coaching credentials, enabling them to guide and inspire our members effectively.
3. Skill Development and Social Riding:
   We're committed to equipping our members with the skills they need to conquer the road. From bike maintenance to confident bike handling, we're here to nurture every aspect of a cyclist's journey.

A Unified Approach, Tailored for You:

While every hub will customise its offerings to cater to the unique needs of its region, a standardised framework will ensure consistency across the network of hubs. Our monthly 'no drop' ride, held on the second Sunday of each month, embodies inclusivity and support. No one gets left behind. Additionally, dedicated bike handling skills sessions will elevate the cycling prowess of every participant.

To ensure the enduring vitality of this initiative, each hub will strive to collaborate with local cycling clubs, engage with regional councils and connect with other like-minded organisations. These partnerships will create a strong foundation for growth and stability.
