Why Cycling Insurance Matters: Your Peace of Mind on Every Ride

Cycling offers freedom and joy, but accidents can strike unexpectedly. That's where cycling insurance steps in – a safety net that ensures you're covered in case of falls or mishaps. With Pink Flamingos, your protection is paramount, letting you pedal with confidence and focus solely on the joy of the journey.
While Pink Flamingos has a broad public liability insurance provision, that does not cover individual cyclists. It is a rule of Auscycling and Bicycling Network that all cyclists who rides in our organised events must have their own lifestyle insurance. The good news is that it is not overly expensive (approx. $80 - $90) and these organisations also allow you to pay monthly. As we are affiliated as a social riding group, we only require you to have the lifestyle insurance. If you would like to take up racing, this needs to be done with your local cycling club.
